LOIS MAE WILKIN was born July 13, 1939 in Waterloo, Iowa the daughter of Frank and Hazel (Berry) Wilkin. She graduated in 1960 from St. John's School of Nursing, Springfield, Missouri. Lois worked for Covenant Medical Center in Waterloo for 27 years, retiring in 1999. Lois died Wednesday, November 1, 2000 at St. Mary's Hospital, Rochester, Minnesota at the age of 61.
She is survived one sister, Ruby Ann Wagner of Cedar Falls, Iowa; three nieces, Lois Rathe, Cheryl Moore and Ilene Miller and one nephew, Earl Canfield; six great nieces and six great nephews. Lois was precede in death by her parents.
Funeral services were 10:30 a.m. Monday, November 6, 2000 at the Dahl-Van Hove-Schoof Funeral Home in Cedar Falls, with burial at Garden of Memories in Waterloo. A memorial fund will be established.
