Linde Hoppes

Linde "Stub" L. Hoppes, 65, of Cedar Falls, died Saturday, July 5, 2014 at Covenant Medical Center, Waterloo, Iowa. She was born February 15, 1949,in Cedar Falls, the daughter of Donald J. and Evelyn (Isley) Stewart. Linde graduated from Cedar Falls High School in 1967. Before her retirement, Linde was employed with the Waterloo School system as a bus driver. She is survived by one sister, Peggy "Missy" (Bob) Neuhaus, of Cedar Falls; two nephews, two nieces, one great nephew and one great niece, also her very best friend, Becky Schwartz, of Waverly. She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, Donald Stewart, and one sister, Vicki Jo Stewart. Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 9, 2014 at Dahl-Van Hove-Schoof Funeral Home with burial in Cedar Valley Memorial Gardens Cemetery, both in Cedar Falls.
