Linda Kay Stover, 68 of Cedar Falls, passed away at MercyOne Medical Center of Waterloo on Tuesday, October 12, 2021.  She was born December 18, 1952, in Cedar Falls, daughter of Archie and Patricia (Brown) Bird.  Linda graduated from Janesville High School with the Class of 1971.  On May 5, 1972, she married Mark Stover in Key West, Florida, where he was serving in the U.S. Army.  Linda was a case packer operator with Nestle Foods in Waverly until her retirement in 2015.  She enjoyed watching sports, and was a Raiders fan.  Linda also liked to watch Wheel of Fortune , Perry Mason and Murder She Wrote and enjoyed crocheting when she was younger.  She was a good fisherman who took pleasure in accompanying Mark when her health allowed.

Linda was preceded in death by her parents; and her brother, David Bird.  She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Mark; her son, Jason (Djuana) Stover of Denver, IA; her daughter, Angela Stover of Cedar Falls; 7 grandchildren: Terry, Sabrina, Caitlin, Lacy, Xander, Cinia and Hunter; her brothers, Michael (Donna) Bird of California and Gary (Cheryl) Bird of Waterloo; and her sister, SuEllen Nicol of Cedar Falls.

Linda's Family is hosting a Celebration of Life Gathering on Saturday, October 30, 2021, beginning at 1:00 pm at the Fraternal Order of the Eagles #4074, 2125 W.
