LINDA K. MAUER was born November 7, 1948 in Waterloo, Iowa, the daughter of Othmar and Ardis (Andersen) Mauer. She was disabled since birth. Linda was a member of the Cedar Falls AMVETS Post 49 and the AMVETS Auxiliary. She died Sunday, March 17, 2002 at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City, Iowa, at 53 years of age.
Linda is survived by her father and step-mother, Othmar and Opal (Bothwell) Mauer of Cedar Falls, Iowa; a brother, Michael Mauer of Cedar Falls; a sister, Rebecca Redenius and her husband Bryan of Parkersburg, Iowa; her special friend, Paul Truesdell of Cedar Falls and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her mother.
Funeral services were 10:00 a.m. Thursday, March 21, 2002 at St. Patrick Catholic Church, with burial at Greenwood Cemetery, both in Cedar Falls. Memorials may be directed to the family.
