Linda Kay Lovstuen Coonradt

Linda Kay Lovstuen Coonradt, 66, of Cedar Falls, died Friday, February 1, 2013, at the Cedar Valley Hospice Home in Waterloo. She was born December 8, 1946 in Decorah, Iowa, the daughter of Norton and Luella (Peterson) Lovstuen. Linda graduated from Decorah High School, received her Associates Degree from NIACC, and her BA in Social Work from UNI. She was a social worker for thirty-one years for the State of Iowa, retiring in 2010. Survivors include her son, David (Lori) Coonradt, of Cedar Falls; her daughter, Michelle (Kurtis) Keough, of Cedar Falls; six grandchildren, Nathan (Allie) Gates of Columbia, South Carolina, Kyle & Zachary Coonradt of Cedar Falls, and Abigail Wieland, Megan Keough and Tanner Keough, all of Cedar Falls; a great grandchild, Jeremiah Gates, of Columbia, South Carolina; two brothers, Norris (Clarice) Lovstuen of St. Paul, Minnesota and Kenneth (Barb) Lovstuen of Albia, Iowa; two sisters, Imogene Olson of Eau Claire, Wisconsin and Elaine (Peter) Ask of Chatfield, Minnesota, and a sister-in-law, Irene Lovstuen, of Decorah. Linda was preceded in death by her parents; a grandson, Jeremy Coonradt; a brother, Ronald Lovstuen, and a brother-in-law, Gene Olson. Services will be 10:30 am Tuesday, February 5, 2013, at Nazareth Lutheran Church in Cedar Falls, with burial at Greenwood Cemetery at a later date. Visitation will be 47:00 pm Monday at Dahl-Van Hove-Schoof Funeral Home, and one hour before service at the church. Memorials may be directed to Cedar Valley Hospice.
