LETHA J. (BONORDEN)
HARPER was born April 27, 1908 at Jesup, Iowa the daughter of Steven C and Cynthia (McGonigle) Fuller. She married Erwin Bonorden and they were later divorced. Letha married Roy Harper August 13, 1937 at Waterloo, Iowa. He preceded her in death on May 5, 1983. She and Roy owned and operated the Harper Body shop for many years. Letha worked as his bookkeeper. She died Sunday, October 1, 2000, at the Western Home-Martin Center in Cedar Falls, Iowa at the age of 92 years.
Letha is survived by one daughter, Grace McKinney and her husband Ray of Janesville, Iowa and one son Robert G. (Bob) Bonorden and his wife Irene of Cedar Falls, Iowa; four grandchildren, Michael, Scott, Rusty and Barbara K.; one great-grandson, Tanner; and one brother John Fuller of Cedar Falls, Iowa.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one brother, Glen Fuller and one sister, Neva Gutknecht.
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday, October 5, 2000, at the Dahl-Van Hove-Schoof Funeral Home, with burial at Cedar Valley Memorial Gardens, both in Cedar Falls. Visitation will be 5 - 8:00 p.m. Wednesday and 9:00 a.m. until service time on Thursday. Memorials may be directed to the family.
