LENORA MADSEN
was born, Aug. 25, 1921, near Dike, Iowa., the daughter of Robert and Agnes (Syndergaard) Johnson. She married Harold Madsen Sept. 5, 1942 at Fredsville Lutheran Church. She died Thursday, Oct 14, 2004 at Sartori Hospital, Cedar Falls, Iowa.
Lenora is survived by her husband, Harold, of Cedar Falls, three daughters, Mary Kay Madsen of Waterloo, Iowa, Jean (Stephen) Beisler of Iowa City, Iowa and Sara Madsen of Minneapolis, MN.; six grandchildren and two brothers, Richard Johnson, Dewitt, Iowa and Dale Johnson of Morro Bay, CA; two sisters, Melba Strickler of Grinnell, Iowa and Janet Porter of Champaign, Ill.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and three brothers, Edward, Wendell and Glenn Johnson.
Memorial services were Tuesday, Oct. 19, 2004 at Fredsville Lutheran Church with inurnment in the Church Cemetery. Memorials may be given to the American Cancer Association, Cedar Valley Hospice and the Cedar Falls Lutheran Home Endowment Fund.
