LENA M. STODDARD PRICE
92, of Cedar Falls, died Wednesday, April 13, 2005, at the Cedar Falls Lutheran Home. She was born March 20, 1913, the daughter of Thomas and Christene (Christiansen) Thomsen, on a farm near Stout, Iowa. Lena married Cecil Stoddard on March 20, 1934 in Cedar Falls, Iowa and he preceded her in death May 29, 1945. She married Ray Price and he preceded her in death. Lena worked for the Cedar Falls Utilities and University Of Northern Iowa as a dispatcher.
She is survived by two daughters; Joyce (Lee) Boylan of Longmont, Colorado and Marilyn (Larry) Gordon of Cedar Falls, Iowa; four grandchildren, Tom Carley, Diane Dean, Ross Hart and Elaine Sutorius; eight great grandchildren and one sister, Meta Johnson of Cedar Falls, Iowa.
Lena was preceded in death by her husbands, eight sisters and two brothers.
Funeral services were 10:00 a.m. Saturday, April 16, 2005, at the Cedar Falls Lutheran Home Chapel with burial at Greenwood Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to Nazareth Lutheran Church, Cedar Falls.
