LaWanda M. Crinklaw, 86, of Cedar Falls, died Thursday, September 26, 2013, at her home in Cedar Falls. She was born February 23, 1927 in Houston, Missouri, the daughter of Homer and Ona (McKinney) Hubbard. LaWanda married Robert Glenn Crinklaw on January 22, 1947 at Nashua, Iowa. She graduated from Houston High School in 1945 and was a store manager for General Nutrition Center in Cedar Falls for nineteen years. Survivors include her husband, Robert Glenn Crinklaw, of Cedar Falls; three sons, Robert B. (Imelda) Crinklaw of Moline, Illinois, James F. Crinklaw of Hopkins, Minnesota and John L. Crinklaw of Waterloo; a daughter, Lynda Jane (Jack) Rupp, of Elbow Lake, Minnesota; three grandchildren, James D. (Kim) Crinklaw, Elizabeth L. (Matt) Perkins and Robert W. (Melanie Flockhart) Crinklaw; five great grandchildren, Megan Crinklaw, T. J. Crinklaw, Emilie Perkins, Natalie Perkins and Gavin Crinklaw, and a sister, Lynda Henson, of Evansdale, Iowa. LaWanda was preceded in death by her parents, a son, Daniel Crinklaw, a great grandson, Gabriel Perkins, and a sister, Jane Harris. Services will be 2:00 p.m. Monday, September 30, 2013, at Dahl-Van Hove-Schoof Funeral Home, with burial at Cedar Valley Memorial Gardens, both in Cedar Falls. Visitation will be one hour before service. Memorials may be directed to Unity Point Hospice in Waterloo.
