LAURA D.
FOX, 40, of Cedar Falls, died Monday, February 2, 2004, at the Cedar Valley Hospice Home in Waterloo, Iowa. She was born February 24, 1963, in Davenport, Iowa, the daughter of Richard C. and Marcella (Shreck) Lorber. Laura married S. Brad Fox on July 16, 1983, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Davenport. She graduated from Davenport West High School and from the University of Northern Iowa, with a B.A. in teaching. Laura taught kindergarten class for 16 years at St. Patrick Catholic School in Cedar Falls, Iowa.
She is survived by her husband, Brad and her children, Emma C. and Benjamin S. Fox, all of Cedar Falls; her brother, Lance (Lynn) Lorber, of Davenport; her sister-in-law, Melissa (Mark) Johansson and her father-in-law, Jim Fox, of Spencer, Iowa.
Laura was preceded in death by her parents and grandparents.
Funeral services were 1:00 p.m. Friday, February 6, at Nazareth Lutheran Church, with burial at Fairview Cemetery, both in Cedar Falls. Memorials may be directed to Cedar Valley Hospice or the Hope Lodge, Rochester, Minnesota.
