Larry D. Neith

Larry D. Neith, 63, of Washburn, died Tuesday, March 6, 2012, at the Cedar Falls Health Care Center. He was born August 11, 1948 in Waterloo, Iowa, the son of Claude and Deloris Mae (Smith) Neith. Larry married Peggy Meyers in Waterloo, and they later divorced. Larry was the floor technician at Crossroads Shopping Center for many years, retiring for health reasons. Survivors include his two daughters, Dawn (Andy) Koob of Jesup, Iowa and Amy (Lenny) Betts of Waterloo; four grandchildren, Jonathan and Dalton Koob of Jesup and Dillan and Courtney Betts of Waterloo; his sister, Sherry (Mike) Whiteman, of Cedar Falls and his brother, Jerry (Alice) Neith, of Washburn, Iowa. Larry was preceded in death by his parents. Services will be 10:30 am Saturday, March 10, 2012, at Dahl-Van Hove-Schoof Funeral Home, with inurnment in Fairview Cemetery, Dunkerton, at a later date.
