Lafonda Kay Taylor

LaFonda Kay Taylor, 69, of Evansdale, Iowa, died Saturday, February 5, 2022, at UnityPoint Health Allen Hospital in Waterloo, Iowa.  She was born September 9, 1952 in Waterloo, the daughter of Gilbert Taylor, Sr. and Helen Ritter Taylor.  LaFonda was a cost accountant for many years with Tyson Foods, retiring in 2018.

She is survived by her sister, Willa Peters, of Evansdale; her niece, Christine (Korey) Cook, and their children, Dakota, Cameron, Isabella and Elizabeth, and her nephew, Rick (Sara) Peters, and their children, Isaiah, Jayden, Jaymason, Alexis and Ava.

LaFonda was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Gilbert Taylor, Jr.
