Kristie Lynn Zook, 44, of Evansdale, Iowa, died Saturday, December 17, 2016, at Sartori Memorial Hospital in Cedar Falls following a lengthy illness.
She was born November 16, 1972, in Waterloo, daughter of Marlys Frost. She married Matthew Allan Zook in Waterloo on June 4, 2011. Kristie graduated from West High School in Waterloo.
Kristie was preceded in death by her mother; and in-laws, Harlan Zook and Judith Zook. She is survived by her husband, Matt, of Evansdale; four sons: Trevor, Cody, Steven and Craig Waltman; a brother-in-law, Mark (Dawn) Zook of Traer; and two grandchildren.
Her family hosted a Memorial Service for her on Wednesday, December 21, 2016, at the Cedar Falls' AMVETS Post 49.
