Kenneth H. Hahn, 92, formerly of Cedar Falls, died Saturday, February 11, 2012 in Bessemer, Alabama. Kenneth was born February 26, 1919 in Mason City, Iowa, the son of Herman & Myrtle (Jennings) Hahn. He married Myrna Vognsen May 5, 1955. She preceded him in death March 27, 2009. Ken served his country in WWII and the Korean Conflict, retiring after 21 years of service. Survived by: two daughters, Velma (Felton) Hartley of Columbus, Georgia and Renea (Anthony) Mareno of Bessemer, Alabama; six grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by: his parents; his wife; five brothers, Weldon, Robert, Milton, John and Charles Hahn. Graveside services: 11:00 a.m. Monday, February 20, 2012 at Greenwood Cemetery in Cedar Falls. Military Honors will be conducted by Cedar Falls AMVETS Post 49. Visitation will be from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Monday at Dahl-Van Hove-Schoof Funeral Home. Condolences may be left at www.DahlFuneralHome.com
