Kenneth L Ehrhardt

Kenneth was born January 25, 1926 in Fairfield, Iowa, the son of Roy & Marjorie (Burr) Ehrhardt.  He married Betty Henrickson and they later divorced.  He married Wilma Hansen January 3, 1981 in Nashua, Iowa.  Kenneth served in the Iowa State Guard and was employed by Cedar Valley Highway Paving Company for 28 years, retiring in 1988.  He was a member of Cedar Falls AMVETS Post 49 and the Fraternal Order of Eagles in Cedar Falls.

Survivors include his wife, Wilma Ehrhardt of Cedar Falls; three sons, Wayne (Chris) Ehrhardt of Marshalltown, Iowa, Russell (Barb) Ehrhardt of Manley, Iowa and Monte (LaDean) Hansen, of Cedar Falls; two daughters, Cindy (Bob) Bentley of Janesville and Rebecca "Becky" Crook Blum of Stockton, Missouri; fifteen grandchildren, twenty seven great grandchildren, one great great grandchild; and two sisters, Jackie Stecker of Boone, Iowa and Jean Goode of Houston, Texas.

Kenneth was preceded in death by his parents; one son, Leroy Ehrhardt; two grandsons, Tom and Tim; and a daughter-in-law, Diana Ehrhardt.

Services will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday, April 28, 2011, at Dahl-Van Hove-Schoof Funeral Home.  Burial will be at Hillside Cemetery with military honors conducted by Cedar Falls AMVETS Post 49.  Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, and for one hour prior to service time Thursday at the funeral home.  Memorials may be directed to the family.  Online condolences may be left at www.DahlFuneralHome.com.
