Kay D. Bevins, 85, of Tucson, Arizona, formerly of Cedar Falls, died Monday, June 27, 2016, at the Tucson Medical Center Hospice. She was born June 4, 1931 in Dumont, Iowa, the daughter of Myrle and Lila (McLaren) Shreve. Kay married Jack Bevins August 11, 1962 at Sierra Vista, Arizona. He preceded her in death December 8, 1995. Kay graduated from Northern University High school and worked as a computer operator at Allen Memorial Hospital for 20 years, retiring in 1993.

Kay is survived by two sons, Michael and William Bevins, both of Tucson; one daughter, Kimberlee (Scott) Yarrington, of Cedar Rapids; two grandchildren; one brother, Kendil Shreve, of Appelton, Wisconsin; two sisters, Karyl Scragg of Arizona and Karla Smallwood of Waterloo.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one brother, Keith Shreve, and one sister, Karen Edwards.

Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, July 6, 2016, at Dahl-Van Hove-Schoof Funeral Home, with burial in Cedar Valley Memorial Gardens Cemetery, both in Cedar Falls. Visitation will be 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 5, and one hour before service, at the funeral home. Condolences may be left at www.DahlFuneralHome.com.
