Kathryn L Kepler

Kathryn L. "Kathy"  Kepler, 81, of Cedar Falls, died Friday, December 11, 2009, at Bickford Cottage in Cedar Falls.  She was born January 2, 1928 in Clinton, Iowa, the daughter of Tom and Doris (Burgess) Dolan.  Kathy married Cecil "Bud" Kepler on July 10, 1948 at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Cedar Falls.  She graduated from Cedar Falls High School in 1946, and worked for Northwestern Bell, John Deere & Co., and retired from Viking Pump Company.

Survivors include her husband, Cecil "Bud" Kepler, of Cedar Falls; three daughters, Linda (Jeff) Nevel of Rockford, Illinois, Nancy (Roger) Truex of New Hartford, and Susie (Bill Pepperling) Kepler of Spring Valley, Minnesota; five grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.

Kathy was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Tom Dolan, Jr.

Services will be 10:30 am Tuesday, December 15, 2009, at Dahl-Van Hove-Schoof Funeral Home, with burial at Greenwood Cemetery, both in Cedar Falls.  Visitation will be 5—7:00 pm Monday, December 14, and one hour before service, at the funeral home.  Memorials may be directed to the Alzheimer's Association.  Online condolences may be left at www.DahlFuneralHome.com .
