KATHRYN JOHNSON, 71, of Cedar Falls died Monday, December 29, 2003 at the Cedar Falls Lutheran Home. She was born November 5, 1932 on a farm in Butler County, Iowa the daughter of George & Maud (Stirling) Dove. Kathryn was a homemaker, farmer, and waitress.
Survivors include two sons, Darrell Johnson of Greeley, Colorado and Charles "Tom" (Melinda) Johnson of Cedar Falls, Iowa; one daughter, Donna Boyd of Queen City, Missouri; eleven grandchildren, two great grandchildren, two brothers, Dallas "Butch" (MaryLee) Dove and Keith (Kay) Dove, both of New Hartford, and two sisters, Winifred Clayton of Cedar Falls and Donna May of Rogers, Arkansas. Kathryn was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Wally Dove.
Memorial services were 2:00 p.m. Saturday, January 3, 2004 at the New Hartford United Methodist Church with inurnment in Oak Hill Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to the Kathryn Johnson Memorial Fund % of Iowa State Bank, New Hartford, Iowa.
