June Jeanette Rogers, 91, of Cedar Falls, died at Western Home Elizabeth Martin Center Friday, November 23, 2007. She was born June 19, 1916 the daughter of John Henry and Katie B. (Stevens) Baker in Cedar Falls, Iowa. She married Lawrence Edward Rogers June 1, 1935 in Cedar Falls. He preceded her in death July 15, 2000. During the 60's and 70's she worked in downtown Cedar Falls as a sales clerk at Lawn City Bakery and The Old Pottery Shop, later in the UNI Laundry.
Jeanette is survived by two sons, Duane (Anna) Rogers of Summerville, South Carolina and Larry Rogers of Rainier, Washington; two daughters, Darlene (Ivan) McKee and Nancy (George) Dunkelberg both of Cedar Falls and her daughter in law, Marla Rogers of Waverly; eighteen grandchildren, thirty seven great grandchildren and eleven great great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one son David, one grandson, Brian McKee and one great grandson Zachary McKee; eight brothers, Charles, Thomas, John, Ralph, Dallas (Doug) and Curtis Baker, Leo Jones and Dale Jaynes; six sisters Hazel Becker, Ruth McClure, Viola Kussert, Marian Vollbrecht, Marguerite Benham and Frances Smith.

Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, November 28, 2007 at Dahl-Van Hove-Schoof Funeral Home with burial in Hillside Cemetery. Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home and one hour before service time. Memorial may be directed to the family.
