JUDY L. YOUNG, 68, died at her home in Cedar Falls, Iowa, Friday, November 18, 2005. She was born January 16, 1937 in Cedar Falls, Iowa, the daughter of Henry A. and Helga (Sihler) Buenneke. Judy married L. W. "Duke" Young on December 7, 1957 in Luce Dale, Mississippi. He died May 18, 1997. She is survived by three daughters; Ann (David) Young Robinson of Carter Lake, Iowa, Laura (Rick) Christensen of Washburn, Iowa and Mary (Brian) Wetrich of Canton, Ohio; four grandchildren, Sean Robinson, Nick Long, Amy Christensen and Loni Wetrich; two great grandchildren, Caleb and Brian Fontinini; two sisters, Janice (Lavern) Ladnier of Moss Point, Mississippi and Dixie (Fleming) Pedersen of Pascagoula, Mississippi, and one brother Harold (Judy) Ripley of Shell Rock, Iowa. Judy was preceded in death by her parents, husband and one brother, Richard Buenneke.

Memorial services were 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, November 23, 2005 at the Dahl-Van Hove-Schoof Funeral Home in Cedar Falls, Iowa with visitation from 4-7 p. m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Inurnment was in Cedar Valley Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Cedar Falls. Memorials may be directed to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation or to the family.
