Judy Ellen Klemp, 70, passed away Wednesday evening, May 22, 2013, in Granbury. Mrs. Klemp was born July 23, 1942, in Cedar Falls, Iowa, to Harold and LaRue Kelley Pedersen. She married Dan Klemp, June 29, 1991, in Cedar Falls. She graduated in the Class of 1960 from Teacher's College High School in Cedar Falls and attended Grandview College in Des Moines, Iowa. She was a member of Nazareth Lutheran Church in Cedar Falls and Acton United Methodist Church in Granbury. Judy had worked as a teacher's aide for Price Lab in Cedar Falls, office manager for Klemp Supply Co. in Cedar Falls and Waterloo, Iowa, secretary for Place Pattern Co. in Cedar Falls and for HyVee in Denver, Iowa. After moving to Texas she volunteered for the Mother's Day Out program at Acton United Methodist Church. She enjoyed singing in the church choir, spending time with Dan at their lake house in Minnesota boating on the lakes and watching the loons, reading and walking. She loved going to Dallas to see grandchildren Max and Carly in their sports, school, and church activities. Survivors: Husband, Dan Klemp of Granbury; son, Bryan Danielsen and wife, Becky, of Richardson, Texas; daughter, Lisa Arnold and husband, Jeff, of Shawnee, Kansas; grandchildren, Max and Carly Danielsen; brother, Raymond Pedersen and wife, Trish, of Torrance, California; mother-in-law, Mildred Waskow of Sumner, Iowa; brother-in-law, Jim Klemp and wife, Shirley, of Cedar Rapids, Iowa; sister-in-law, Kathy Bock and husband, Larry, of Cedar Rapids, Iowa; step-children, Dawn Madden of Denver, Colorado, Alan Klemp and wife, Jill, of Austin, Texas, Susie Pawlyshyn and husband, John, of Houston, Texas; and several loving step-grandchildren and step great grandchildren. Funeral service will be 1:30 p.m. Friday, May 31, 2013, at Dahl-Van Hove-Schoof Funeral Home in Cedar Falls, with burial at Cedar Valley Memorial Gardens in Cedar Falls. Visitation will be 47:00 p.m. Thursday and one hour before service, at the funeral home. Condolences may be left at www.DahlFuneralHome.com.
