Judith Ann Cutler, 85, Cedar Falls, died Monday, November 20, 2023 at her home under Cedar Valley Hospice Care.
Judith was born August 7, 1938 in Wapello to the late Raymond and Mary (Carter) Jackson. She married Dr. Michael Blough on December 5, 1992 in Cedar Falls.
Judith was a person dedicated to the Cedar Falls community for most of her life. She worked in the Planning Division (later the Community Development Dept.) for 27 years before working as the Building and Services Coordinator at the Cedar Falls Community Center for 7 years. Judi was part of the committee that initially planned Sturgis Falls Celebration that we know today. She was also an active member of the Cedar Falls Civic Foundation, CF Community Main Street Program, University of Northern Iowa Museum, CF Public Art Committee, College Hill Arts Festival, and many more civic projects through the years. In recognition of her service the Cedar Falls community, Judi received the 2012 CF Civic Foundation Peter Melendy Award for her extraordinary service to the Cedar Falls community.
Judith is survived by her husband of 30 years, Dr. Michael Blough; daughter, Amy Oats; granddaughter, Allison Oats; brother, Jerry Jackson; and many extended family and friends.
In accordance with Judi's wishes, there will be no services. Dahl-Van Hove-Schoof Funeral Home is assisting the family.
