Joseph A Alemao
June 10, 1954 — October 1, 2009
Survivors include his wife, Luann Alemao, of Cedar Falls; his son, Andrew Alemao, of Iowa City, Iowa; two brothers, Gilbert (Guida) Alemao of Bakersfield, California and Frank (Tammy) Alemao of Colorado Springs, Colorado, and a sister, "Fil" Filomena (Greg) Evans, of Bakersfield.
Joe was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, John Alemao.
Services will be 10:30 am Wednesday, October 7, 2009, at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Cedar Falls, with burial at Fairview Cemetery, Cedar Falls, at a later date. Visitation will be 2 - 8:00 pm Tuesday, October 6, at Dahl-Van Hove-Schoof Funeral Home, where a 4:00 pm Rosary and a 7:00 pm Vigil Service will be conducted. Visitation also one hour before service in the church atrium. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the family, the Roy Eblen Speech & Hearing Clinic at the Univ. of Northern Iowa, or St. Patrick Catholic Church.
