Jon Winburn

Jon Paul Winburn, 30, of Cedar Falls, died Sunday, April 6, 2014, at Covenant Medical Center in Waterloo. He was born August 22, 1983 in Waterloo, the son of Kevin & Pauli (Sukovaty) Winburn. Jon graduated from Cedar Falls High School in 2002, was a salesman of life and a member of Sons of AMVETS Post 49 in Cedar Falls. Survivors include his daughter, Payton Lynn Parmeter, of Tripoli, Iowa; his father and stepmother, Kevin and Susan Winburn, of Waterloo; his mother and stepfather, Pauli and Mark Schmadeke, of Lansing, Iowa; his paternal grandparents, John and Kathleen Winburn, of Inverness, Florida; his maternal grandparents, Jon and Arlene Hall, of Cedar Falls; four brothers, Mark (Val) Winburn, of Waterloo, Forrest (Kristen) Winburn, of Iowa Falls, Andrew Winburn, of New York City, New York, and Jack Winburn, of Spencer, Iowa; two sisters, Jordan Cornwell, of Spencer and Savanna Everett, of Waterloo; two nieces, Aidyn Winburn, of Iowa Falls and Josie Winburn, of Waterloo; and one nephew, Kohen Winburn, of Iowa Falls. Jon was preceded in death by his great grandparents. Services will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, April 11, 2014, at Prairie Lakes Church with visitation for one hour prior to service time.
