Joanne E. Adams

Joanne E. Adams, 81, of Cedar Falls, died Monday, July 8, 2013 at her home. Joanne was born May 23, 1932, in Decorah, Iowa, the daughter of John & Edna (Gavle) Finholt. She married Charles L. Adams May 14, 1953, in Waverly, Iowa. He preceded her in death May 27, 2010. Joanne graduated from Decorah High School and the Marshalltown Cosmetology School. She was employed as a cosmetologist. Survivors include two sons, Doug Adams of Ankeny, Iowa and David (Shelly) Adams of Clear Lake, Iowa; one daughter, Denise (Curt) Braby of Morning Sun, Iowa; and five grandchildren, Kale & Kassidi Braby, and Ozzie, Brock and McGwire Adams. Services will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday, July 11, 2013 at Dahl-Van Hove-Schoof Funeral Home with inurnment in Fairview Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to service time.
