Joann Hart

JoAnn Hart, 86, of Dodge Center, Minnesota, formerly of Cedar Falls, died Wednesday, April 8, 2015, at Fairview Care Center in Dodge Center. She was born September 17, 1928 in Waterloo, Iowa, the daughter of Henry and Florence Ione (Church) Cramer. JoAnn married Donald D. Hart on November 3, 1945 in Little Rock, Arkansas. He preceded her in death on October 3, 1997. She was a 1944 graduate of Parkersburg High School and attended Iowa State University in Ames. JoAnn worked in the Food Service Dept. at UNI for 26 years, retiring in 1990. JoAnn was the founder of Women Together at Cedar Heights Community Presbyterian Church in Cedar Falls. Survivors include a son, Jim (Lois) Hart, of Cedar Falls; three daughters, Sandra (Roger Erickson) Hart of Kasson, Minnesota, Pat Hart-Fuller of Eden Prairie, Minnesota and Donna (Galen) Heinle of Mantorville, Minnesota; a son-in-law, Gary Heinle, of Bloomington, Minnesota; a daughter-in-law, Judy Hart, of Chaska, Minnesota; six grandchildren, Brian (Susie) Hart, Traci (Clint) Thomas, Kara Hart, Josh (Katrina) Hart, Casey Heinle and Drew Heinle, and 10 great-grandchildren. JoAnn was preceded in death by her parents and husband; a daughter, Nancy Heinle; a son, Tom Hart; one great-grandchild and a son-in-law, Randy Fuller. Services will be 1:30 p.m. Sunday, April 12, 2015, at Dahl-Van Hove-Schoof Funeral Home in Cedar Falls, with burial at Oak Hill Cemetery in Parkersburg at a later date.
