Joan J.
Randall was born June 24, 1933 in Cedar Falls, Iowa the daughter of Russell and Anna (Chessmore) Hundley. She married Ernest "Skip" Randall on August 30, 1952 in Reno, Nevada. He preceded her in death on July 30, 1971. Joan graduated from Cedar Falls High School in 1951 and was a member of the Cedar Falls AMVETS Auxiliary. She died Monday, February 21, 2000 at her home at 66 years of age.
Survivors include her three sons, Ronald Randall and James Randall, both of Bellevue, Nebraska, Shawn Bancroft of Cedar Falls; one daughter, Gloria Smith of Lincoln, Nebraska; seven grandchildren, Jamie & Jeff Smith and Ryan, Aaron, Joe, Laura and Stephanie Randall; her great granddaughter, Kaitlyn Smith; one brother, Donald Hundley, and three sisters, Beverly Boeck of Janesville, Iowa, Alice Wilson of Waterloo, Iowa and Dixie Hundley of Cedar Falls.
Joan was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.

Funeral services were 1:30 p.m. Friday, February 25, 2000, at the Dahl-Van Hove-Schoof Funeral Home, with burial at Greenwood Cemetery, both in Cedar Falls. Memorial fund will be established.
