Jimmy L. Yearling

Jimmy L. Yearling, 77, of Cedar Falls, died Monday, April 2, 2012 at Allen Memorial Hospital in Waterloo. Jimmy was born July 2, 1934 at New Hampton, Iowa, the son of Lowell & Clara (Roethler) Yearling. He married Laurene Skattum June 30, 1956 in Waterloo. Jimmy was employed at John Deere in Waterloo for many years. Survivors include his wife, Laurene Yearling; his daughter, Cindy (Bob) Stevenson; his son, Scott Yearling; four grandchildren, Christine and Liz Bradfield and Hannah and Cole Yearling; four step grandchildren, Kate (Nate) Winston, Megan, Haley and Kelly Stevenson; his mother, Clara Yearling; and his sister, Lois Walker. Jimmy was preceded in death by his father and one daughter, Stacey Yearling. Services will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday, April 5, 2012, at Cedar Heights Community Presbyterian Church.
