JIM R. WESEMAN was born October 5, 1952 in Grundy Center, Iowa, the son of George K. "Bud" and Edith (Kramer) Weseman. He married Marjorie DeBower on August 31, 1974 in Finchford, Iowa. Jim was a 1970 graduate of Grundy Center High School, attended Hawkeye Technical School in Waterloo, Iowa, and was a self-employed carpenter for many years. He died Tuesday, August 3, 1999, of heart failure, at Grundy County Memorial Hospital in Grundy Center, at 46 years of age.
Jim is survived by his wife, Marjorie Weseman, of Cedar Falls, Iowa; his son, Tyler Weseman, of Cedar Falls; a brother, Bob Weseman and two sisters, Joan Rose, of Waterloo and Judi Gifford, of New Hartford, Iowa. He was preceded in death by his mother, Edith Weseman.
Memorial services were 2:00 p.m. Friday, August 6, 1999, at the Dahl-Van Hove-Schoof Funeral Home in Cedar Falls. Memorials may be directed to the family.
