Jerry W. Engleman

Jerry W. "Chief" Engleman, 53, of Waterloo, died Monday, January 4, 2021, at UnityPoint Health Allen Hospital in Waterloo.  He was born February 16, 1967 at the Rosebud Indian Reservation in South Dakota.   Jerry married Rhonda Salisbury at St. John Lutheran Church in Cedar Falls.  He was a graduate of Northern University High School in Cedar Falls and worked for the Cedar Bend Humane Society, and later was an Inspector at Omega Cabinet Company in Waterloo.  Jerry was a member of Cedar Falls AMVETS Post 49, Evansdale AMVETS Post 31, and American Legion Becker Chapman Post 138.

He is survived by is wife, Rhonda Engleman, of Waterloo; his son, Cody Engleman, of Martins Ferry, Ohio, and three sisters, Kathleen Porter and Kim Pierce, both of Cedar Falls, and Robin Enberg of Dulce, New Mexico.

Jerry was preceded in death by his adoptive parents, Robert and Dorothy (Jacobs) Engleman.
