JERRY ROBERT
DORWIN was born April 15, 1946, the son of Robert K. and Lucille K. (Dietz) Dorwin at Charles City, Iowa. He married Marilyn L. Adams October 17, 1972 at Falls Avenue Wesleyan Church in Waterloo, Iowa. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War, serving the United States Army. He was a custodian at UNI for several years. Jerry died Thursday, March 31, 2005, at Sartori Memorial Hospital, Cedar Falls, Iowa, at the age of 58 years.
Jerry is survived by his wife, Marilyn; one daughter, Lisa R. (Thomas) Wolf; three grandchildren, Amber, Brittany and Dillon Wolf; his mother, Lucille Dorwin and one sister Sandra K. Neuman all of Cedar Falls, Iowa.
He was preceded in death by his father.
Funeral services were 1:30 p.m. Monday, April 4, 2005 at Glad Tidings Assembly of God Church in Cedar Falls, Iowa with burial at Waterloo Memorial Park Cemetery, Waterloo, Iowa. A memorial fund will be established.
