Jennifer Lee Welch

Jennifer Lee Welch, 68, of Cedar Falls, passed away at home on Sunday, December 21, 2025. She was born July 12, 1957, in Wisconsin Rapids, WI, daughter of Donald and Irene (Reinhardt) Fischer. Jennifer graduated from Rib Lake High School in 1975, then went on to earn her degree in nursing. She married Steven Welch on November 22, 1992, in Eagle River, Wisconsin. She worked as a nurse for over 40 years, recently retiring to spend more time with her beloved husband.

Jennifer was preceded in death by her parents; and a brother Joseph (in infancy). She is survived by her Steven, husband of 33 years; son, Nicholas of Marion; daughter, Stephanie of Iowa City; 3 brothers: Andrew (Sandy) of New Brunfels, TX, John (Tammy) of Marshfield, WI and David (Cindy) of St. Paul; 5 sisters: Elizabeth (George) Lukewich of Medford, WI, Denise Fischer of Hartland, WI, Kathy (Joe) Ziembo of Medford, WI, Mary (Randy) Senkbeil of St. Paul, MN and Beverly (Keith) Bright of New Berlin, WI.
