Jeanne Marie Rogers, 80, Cedar Falls, died Wednesday, June 10, 2026 under the care of Cedar Valley Hospice at Martin Suites – Western Home Communities.
Jeanne was born April 30, 1946 in Waterloo to the late Louis and Mercina (Grieger) Eastman. Following high school, she graduated from Pitzy Beauty School and worked as a cosmetologist and preschool teacher for 35 years. Jeanne married Neil Haan on November 27, 1965 in Waterloo and the couple celebrated 8 years of marriage before his death on May 6, 1974. Love found Jeanne once more and she married Athol “Ace” Rogers on August 2, 1975 in Nashua and they celebrated 39 years together prior to his death on March 19, 2015.
Jeanne is survived by her children, Ann (Dave) Snodgrass of Dubuque, Scott (Christie) Rogers of Kansas City, KS, Craig Haan of Cedar Falls, Angie Rogers of Waterloo and Darin (Meghan) Rogers of Waterloo; grandchildren, Amanda Brooks, Taylor (Hunter) Roberts, Nick Rogers, Madison Haan, Andrew Rogers, Alex Rogers, Ben Rogers and Joey Rogers; siblings, Bonnie Glaser of Cedar Falls and Jackie Reisinger of Waterloo; sister-in-law, Carol Eastman of Cedar Falls and extended family and friends. She was preceded in death by her brother, Tom Eastman; brothers-in-law, Bob Reisinger and Bob Glaser and great-nephew, Little Jean.
Jeanne’s memorial service will be 10:30 AM on Monday, June 29, 2026 at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church. Visitation will be from 9:30 AM until the time of service at the church. Inurnment will be at Hillside Cemetery. Dahl-Van Hove-Schoof Funeral Home is assisting the family.
The family requests memorial contributions be made to a charity of your choice in Jeanne’s memory.
