Jean is survived by her husband, Thomas of Cedar Falls; one daughter, Karen (Les) Blount and one son, Kirk Dietrick both of Cedar Falls; three grandchildren, Megan (Eric) Gorman of Minneapolis, Lacie (Brett) Gardner of Milwaukee, Wisconsin and Dexter Dietrick of Cedar Falls; one great grandchild, Kianna Gardner of Milwaukee; four brothers, Leonard (Joanne) Danielsen of Madison, Wisconsin, Delmar (Betty) Danilesen of Cedar Falls, Paul (John Wilson) Danielsen of Waterloo and Dale (Janeen) Danielsen of Dike; three sisters, Virginia (Larry) Folchert and Janice (Daryl) Andersen both of Cedar Falls and Marlene Danielsen of Waterloo.
She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Melvin and Wayne Danielsen.
Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Friday, April 3, 2009 at Nazareth Lutheran Church with burial in Garden of Memories in Waterloo. Visitation will be 4-7 p.m. Thursday, April 2, 2009 at the Dahl Van Hove-Schoof Funeral Home and one hour before services at the church on Friday. Memorials may be directed to Cedar Valley Hospice.
