Janyth Ridder

Janyth "Sue" Ridder, 65, of Cedar Falls, died Friday, September 25, 2009, at the Cedar Valley Hospice Home in Waterloo. Sue was born October 24, 1943 at Marshalltown, Iowa, the daughter of James & Faye (Grieves) Bossert. She married Chuck Ridder December 15, 1962 at First Christian Church in Cedar Falls. Sue graduated from Pitze's School of beauty in 1962, was a homemaker, a member of First Christian Church, and was a volunteer at Covenant Medical Center in Waterloo from 2002 to 2007.

Survivors include her husband, Chuck Ridder, of Cedar Falls, her daughter, Tami (Mike) Jensen of Cedar Falls; her son, Tom (Sherri) Ridder, of Cedar Falls; five grandchildren, Justin and Ashleigh Jensen, Jaylen, Jared and Jackson Ridder; her mother, Faye Bossert, of Cedar Falls; and one sister. Bette (Jim) Lynch, of Minnesota.

Sue was preceded in death by her father and her daughter, Michelle "Shelli" Ridder.

Graveside services will be 1:30 p.m. Monday, September 28, 2009, at Fairview Cemetery in Cedar Falls. Visitation will be from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday at the Dahl-Van Hove-Schoof Funeral Home.
