Jane Slykhuis

Jane Slykhuis, 70, of Cedar Falls, died Tuesday, December 20, 2016, near Liberal, Kansas, along with her husband Jerry. She was born December 17, 1946 in Peoria, Illinois, the daughter of John Thomas and Marjorie (Forrest) Manlove. Jane married Jerry Slykhuis June 2, 1973 in Fort Madison, Iowa. She worked for many years for UNI as a Disabled Coordinator.

She is survived by two sons, Steve (Ian) Siegel-Slykhuis, of Glen Cove, New York and Capt Matt (Johnnie) Slykhuis, of Fort Wainwright, Alaska; four grandchildren, Joella, Asher, Aiken, and Jesse Slykhuis.

Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday, December 29, 2016 at Nazareth Lutheran Church with visitation at Nazareth Lutheran church, Wednesday, December 28, from 4:00 p. m.
