Jan Corwin

Jan E. Corwin, 66, of Cedar Falls, died at her home on Friday, February 6, 2015. She was born September 27, 1948, in Cedar Falls, the daughter of Robert E. and Ellen H. (Andersen) Mortensen. Jan married Doug Corwin August 6, 1966, in Blair, Nebraska. She was a bookkeeper at JS Latta Company for many years. Jan is survived by her husband, Doug Corwin, of Cedar Falls; one son, Eric D. Corwin, of Davenport, Iowa; one daughter-in-law, Lauren Corwin, of Round Rock, Texas, and four grandchildren, Deidre "Dee Dee," Jason, Charles and Jaelynn. She was preceded in death by her parents; one son, Allen D. Corwin, and an infant brother, Allen Lee Mortensen. Memorial services will be 1:30 p.m. Saturday, March 7, 2015, at Christian Fellowship Missionary Baptist Church in Waterloo with visitation one hour prior to the service at the church.
