JAMES I. THIERMAN, was born on February 14, 1944 in Cedar Falls, Iowa, the son of Carl and Doris (Perin) Thierman. He married Linda Kramer on March 20, 1965 in Cedar Falls. James was employed as a carpenter for 23 years at the University of Northern Iowa, retiring in 2002. He died on Tuesday, November 11, 2003, at the Cedar Falls Lutheran Home, at 59 years of age.
Survivors include his wife, Linda, of Cedar Falls; a daughter, Michelle (Isaac) Jerome of Cedar Falls; two grandsons, Brandon and Tanner Jerome; three brothers, John (Janna) Thierman of Waterloo, Iowa, Richard (Barb) Thierman of Waverly, Iowa and Tom Thierman of Cedar Falls, and a sister, Nanette Sash of Cedar Falls. James was preceded in death by his parents, a daughter, Lisa Thierman and a brother, Charles Thierman.
Funeral services were 10:30 a.m. Friday, November 14, 2003 at the United Church Of Christ with burial at Cedar Valley Memorial Gardens. Memorials may be directed to the family.
