James V. "Jim" Curd, 73, of Waterloo, died Tuesday, November 8, 2011, at Allen Memorial Hospital in Waterloo. He was born December 19, 1937 in Dexter, Missouri, the son of Herman and Aline (Goodman) Curd. Jim married Cindy Stickfort on December 8, 1998 in Nashua, Iowa.
Survivors include his wife, Cindy, of Waterloo, two sons, Vernon Curd of Texas and Bobby Joe Curd of Chaffee, Missouri, and his aunt and uncle, Elizabeth and Gene Cummins, of Chaffee.
Jim was preceded in death by his parents.
Private family-directed services will be at a later date. Memorials may be directed to the family. Dahl-Van Hove-Schoof Funeral Home is assisting the family.
