Jack Westcott

Jack "Mad Jack" Westcott, 55, of Waterloo, died at his home.  Jack was born December 4, 1954, at West Union, Iowa, the son of Daryl & Darlene (Van Brocklyn) Westcott.  He was an avid volunteer having volunteered with the Make a Wish Foundation, Harleys-n-Hot Rods, and the Salvation Army.

Survivors include his daughter, Jenny Westcott, of Cedar Falls; three grandchildren, Destiny, Dakota, and Danika; his father, Daryl Westcott, of Guttenberg, Iowa; and two sisters, Rhonda Hruska, of Waterloo, and Gail (Bob) Sims, of Guttenberg.

Jack was preceded in death by his mother; his paternal grandparents, Gerald & Ollie Westcott, and his maternal grandparents, Walter & Marie Van Brocklyn.

Services will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, November 12, 2010 at the Dahl-Van Hove-Schoof Funeral Home, with inurnment at Cedar Valley Memorial Gardens, both in Cedar Falls.  Visitation will be for one hour prior to service time at the funeral home.  Memorials may be directed to the family.
