Jack D Powell, Jr.

Survivors include his wife, Barb, of Cedar Falls; two sons, David (Andrea) Powell of Readlyn, Iowa and Brian (Jennifer Young) Powell of Cedar Falls; a daughter, Amy Powell, of Cedar Falls; four grandsons, Andruw, Ayden, Noah and Bryce; three brothers, Virgil (Bette) Powell of Waterloo, James "Skip" Powell of Waterloo and Rick (Kerrie) Powell of Evansdale; a sister, Kathy Kezar, of Sheffield, Iowa; mother and father-in-law, Lloyd & Jane Buls, of Waterloo; sister-in-law, Theresa Harbaugh, of Waterloo; and many nieces and nephews.

Jack was preceded in death by his parents and paternal and maternal grandparents.

Services will be 10:30 am Monday, December 24, 2007, at St. John Lutheran Church in Cedar Falls with interment at Garden of Memories in Waterloo. Visitation will be 2—6:00 pm Sunday at Dahl-Van Hove-Schoof Funeral Home and one hour before service at the church. A memorial fund will be established at a later date.
