IVADEAN LUTZ,
93, of Cedar Falls died Thursday, May 25, 2006, at Sartori Memorial Hospital. Ivadean was born March 13, 1913 in Fern, Iowa, the daughter Cornelius & Grace (Meyer) Haack. She married Lester Lutz September 16, 1931 at Wellsburg, Iowa. He died October 15, 1984. Ivadean was a grocery clerk retiring in 1978.
Survivors include three daughters, Bonnie Turner of Cedar Falls, Deborah (Tom) Carney of Arvada, Colorado and Victoria Robinson of Cedar Falls; nine grandchildren, Christine (Prescott) Pitts, Darin (Bobbi) Carney, Susan (Steve) Petersen, John Turner, Brian (Jane) Turner, Kathryn (Jerry) Ellis, LeAnn (Tom) Vetter, Jodi and Jennifer Robinson; thirteen great grandchildren, Angie, Andrew, Laura, Nick, Natalie, Taylor, Alec, Alish, Kyle, Kelyan, Keaton, Cassidy, Delainey; two sisters, Lydia Lutterman of Cedar Falls and Gladys Vollenweider of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, one great grandson, Nathan Redden, one brother, Ernest Haack, and one sister, Bilda Weber.
Funeral services were Monday, June 5, 2006, at the Dahl-Van Hove-Schoof Funeral Home with interment in Greenwood Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to the Cedar Falls Lutheran Home or the Cedar Bend Humane Society.
