IOLA M. WYANT , 89, of Cedar Falls died of natural causes at her daughter's home in Waterloo, on Sunday, October 30. Iola was born October 12, 1916 at Drayton, North Dakota the daughter of Alexander & Anna (Crawford) Bellamy. She married Roy Wyant and he preceded her in death November 14, 1975. Iola was a health care provider for many years and was a cook at the University of Northern Iowa for eight years retiring in 1976. She was a lifetime member of the Assembly of God Church. Survivors include eight sons, Gordon Fraser of Waterloo, John Fraser of Victoria, British Colombia, Canada, Kenneth (Marilyn) Wyant of Waterloo, Carl (Judy) Wyant of Evansdale, Iowa, Gary (Polly), Larry (Sherry) and Richard (Nancy) Wyant, all of Waterloo and Michael (Paula) Wyant of Evansdale; six daughters, Arliss (James) Hamilton of Cedar Falls, Darlene (Harvey) Wiebenga of Fulton, Illinois, Ann Dreckman of Akron, Ohio, Wanda (Walter) Basler of St. John, Indiana, Marilyn (Mike) Argabright of Tulsa, Oklahoma and Edna (Kenneth) Huntley of Waterloo; a stepson, Lyle (Beryl) Wyant of Knoxville, Tennessee; a step daughter, Lois Jane Kirk-Schwake (friend, Chuck Vondracek) of Evansdale; 47 grandchildren, 98 great grandchildren, 13 great great grandchildren; three brothers, Delbert Bellamy of British Colombia, Canada, Kenneth (Nita) Bellamy of Seattle, Washington and Robert (Betty) Bellamy of Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada; and two sisters, Edna (Carmen) Slind of Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada and Erleen (Robert) Goudreau of Prince George, British Colombia, Canada. Iola was preceded in death by her parents and husband; two sons, Alvin Neal Wyant and James Wyant; two stepsons, Bill and Art Wyant; four grandchildren; one sister, Dulcie Squires; and four brothers, Cecil, Ronald, Glenn and Garnett Bellamy.

Funeral services were 10:30 a.m. Thursday, November 3, 2005 at Living Water Church of the Nazarene with burial at Greenwood Cemetery, both in Cedar Falls. Memorials may be directed to the church.
