Herman E Jensen

Survivors include two sons, Bob (Monica) Jensen of Cedar Falls, Dick (Cheryl) Jensen of Waverly, Iowa; five grandchildren, Kim (Bill) Jordan, Tami (Tony) Halterman, Erick (Mary) Jensen, Angie (Kris) Dugger, and Chris (Dave) Bergman; nine grandchildren, and two sisters, Louise Eckerman of Cedar Falls and Betty Frerking of Papillion, Nebraska. Herman was preceded in death by his wife and one sister, Frieda Jensen.

Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday, December 28, 2007 at St. John Lutheran Church with burial in Cedar Valley Memorial Gardens, both in Cedar Falls. Military honors will be conducted by Cedar Falls AMVETS Post 49. Visitation will be 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday, December 27, at the Dahl-Van Hove-Schoof Funeral Home and one hour before services at the church on Friday. Memorials may be directed to the church, the Cedar Falls Lutheran Home or Cedar Valley Hospice.
