CORDES, HENRIETTA,
was born January 1, 1909 in Allison, Iowa the daughter of Ben and Anna (Schultz) Hinders. She married Anton Cordes January 4, 1927 in Parkersburg, Iowa. He preceded her in death on April 25, 1974. Henrietta died Thursday, October 12, 2000 at the Cedar Falls Lutheran Home at the age of 91 years.
Survivors include her daughter, Evelyn Diekman and her husband, Raymond, of Cedar Falls, two grandchildren, four great grandchildren, 2 step great grandsons, five great great grandchildren, and seven step great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, five sisters, two brothers, and one step great grandson.
PRIVATE FUNERAL SERVICES WILL BE HELD AT ST. JOHN LUTHERAN CHURCH WITH BURIAL IN CEDAR VALLEY MEMORIAL GARDENS. There will be no visitation. Memorials may be directed to the church or Cedar Valley Hospice.
