HELGA
OLIN, 93, died Wednesday, March 15, in Cedar Falls. She was born June 18, 1912 in Cedar Falls, the daughter of Peter J. and Elise (Larsen) Falkenberg. Helga married Terry Boyd Olin on October 29, 1938 in Cedar Falls.
She is survived by her husband, Terry, of Cedar Falls; two daughters, Barb (Vern) Luhring of Cedar Falls and Jan McMullen of Kearney, Missouri; five grandchildren, Jennifer (John) Jacobsen, Jayne (Aaron) Spear, Amy Strathman, Dr.Timothy (Michelle) McMullen and Terri McMullen, and seven great-grandchildren.
Helga was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters, Arensa McIntosh and Selma Krause.
Funeral services were Monday, March 20, at Dahl-Van Hove-Schoof Funeral Home, with interment at Greenwood Cemetery, both in Cedar Falls. Memorials may be directed to the Cedar Falls Lutheran Home or the Cedar Falls Bible Conference.
