Helen W Lawrence

Helen W. Lawrence, 88, of Cedar Falls, died Friday, September 17, 2010, at the Western Home Communities Elizabeth Martin Health Care Center, Cedar Falls. She was born May 1, 1922 in Evanston, Illinois, the daughter of Leo Cady and Lyla Winifred (Mustard) White. Helen married Richard B. Lawrence on November 21, 1947, at Evanston, Illinois. He preceded her in death August 18, 2004.

She is survived by three daughters; Chris (Randy) Graf, of Willmette, Illinois, Heather (Scott) Lawrence-Richards, of Cedar Falls, and Sharon (John) Lee, of Lakewood, Colorado; five grandchildren and one sister, Evelyn  Swanson, of California.

Helen was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and one sister, Dorothy Rowe.

Services will be 1:30 p.m. Monday, September 20, 2010, at the Western Home Chapel with inurnment  in Fairview Cemetery, both in Cedar Falls. Memorials may be directed to the Western Home.
