September 21, 1913 — August 29, 2006
Survivors include her three daughters, Georgeane (Carl) Holman of Springfield, Missouri, Patricia (Larry) Dessner of Columbus Junction, Iowa and Pamela (Jerry) McMullen of Cedar Falls; ten grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren.
Helen was preceded in death by her husband and parents; two brothers, Marvin and Robert "Bob" Garrick, and two sisters, Evelyn Garrick and Marjorie Hummel.
Memorial services will be 10:00 am Friday, September 1, 2006, at St. Patrick Catholic Church, with inurnment at Greenwood Cemetery, both in Cedar Falls. Visitation will be 6 - 8:00 pm Thursday at Dahl-Van Hove-Schoof Funeral Home in Cedar Falls. Memorials may be directed to St. Patrick Catholic Church or the charity of the donor's choice.
