Harold W Carr

Harold Warren Carr, 78, of Parkersburg, died Friday, April 15, 2011, at the Cedar Falls Health Care Center.  He was born October 1, 1932 at Waterloo, Iowa, the son of Delmar Warren and Olivia A. (Madsen) Carr.  Harold married Delores B. Myszka on June 16, 1956, at Waverly, Iowa.  He was a truck driver for Shireys-Manatts Contractors in Waterloo for thirty-two years, retiring in 1992.

Survivors include his wife, Delores Carr, of Parkersburg; two daughters, Roxane (Bill) Russeff of Mason City, Iowa and Kimberly (Tom) Abbott of Ankeny, Iowa; four grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, and two sisters, Bev McCarter of Visalia, California  and Joanne (Ted) Lobeck of Evansdale, Iowa.

Harold was preceded in death by his parents.

Services will be 1:30 pm Tuesday, April 19, 2011, at Dahl-Van Hove-Schoof Funeral Home, with burial at Cedar Valley Memorial Gardens, both in Cedar Falls.  Visitation will be 5—7:00 pm Monday, and one hour before the service, at the funeral home.  Memorials may be directed to the family.  Online condolences may be left at www.DahlFuneralHome.com.
