90, of Cedar Falls, died Friday, April 7, 2006, at Allen Memorial Hospital in Waterloo. Harlan was born July 16, 1915 at Dike, Iowa, the son of Tony and Ethel Mae (Klontz) Billman. He married Olga E. Olson on April 10, 1953 at Waterloo, Iowa. She preceded him in death on December 11, 1992. He was a veteran of World War II, serving in the US Army. Harlan worked for Montgomery Wards as a salesman for 26 years, retiring in 1976.
Harlan is survived by one daughter, Dawn (Phil) Colbert, of Hudson, Iowa and one son, David Billman, of Cedar Falls, Iowa; three grandchildren; two brothers, Herbert Billman of Clarion, Iowa and Wayne (Dorothy) Billman of Waterloo, Iowa, and one sister, Arlene Jones, of Waterloo, Iowa.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife and one brother, Charles Billman.
Celebration of Life Services were Monday, April 10, 2006, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Waterloo. Private committal services will be at Garden Of Memories, Waterloo, Iowa. Memorials can be directed to the Boys Scouts of America.
